How to get past overwhelm so you can prioritise more effectively Tuesday 16th January 10.00-10.30 BST
There's probably not a single person at work today who hasn't struggled with feelings of overwhelm and anxiety at some stage because they have too much to do and too little time.
And lately we've noticed there's a bit of an overwhelm epidemic. It's cropped up a lot in our coaching conversations.
We've been hearing things like: “I don't have the resources for what I'm being asked to deliver” and “I'm working long hours every week and losing sleep just to keep up” and “I have no control over what I say yes/no to”.
We've all been there and had feelings like this at one time or another - no-one is immune to feeling over-worked and overloaded.
But the reality is there will always be too much to do.
While we can't make those things magically go away, there are some mindset shifts we can make so we're in a better place to deal with whatever work - or life - throws at us.
So, what better time than January to get our heads in the right place, so we can start the new year feeling energised and able to face into challenges.
In this 30-minute session, we'll cover:
- The internal and external factors that prevent us from doing the things that really have impact and move the dial
- Some techniques to declutter your mind and regain focus
- The art of prioritising and saying no when needed
This session is open to anyone and especially leaders and comms and HR professionals looking to gain some key insights and inspiration.
